Courmayeur in Summer

Courmayeur in summer has just about every activity or sport one could imagine. This of course does not include all of the beach holidays on offer in the rest of the world. But, if you are looking for summer action, Courmayeur on the Italian side of Mont Blanc or if you prefer, Monte Bianco has a smorgasbord off offerings. Well what else would you expect, swimming on Mont Blanc maybe? Well yes, actually. To my knowledge there are no less than two swimming pools on Plan Checquit just above Courmayeur and both are reachable by cable car both from Dolonne and the village of Courmayeur.
