Getting To Courmayeur
Posted by :
Ratscha
Is Courmayeur easy to reach either from Italy or Switzerland? Not really. If you go with a recognized ski tour company its easy enough, but if you are on your own you might have a problem if you do not rent a car. Easy enough if there are a few of you but fairly expensive from, say, Geneva airport if you are on your own. Thee are however transfer firms vying for your trade, look them up on your favorite search engine. From Milan in Italy, the about 250km is slightly easier; after all you are in the right country, Italy. Take the train to Aosta and from there the bus is your best bet to Courmayeur. Good luck and if you know a better way let me know please. By the by if you are in a car the resort can be reached through the Mont Blanc Tunnel from Chamonix.
