Be Careful If You are a Person of Colour

As a person of colour, I  experienced racial harassment from the local youths and being stopped by the police on my way to the hotel.  It is truly disappointing in this globalised age of the 21st century to be subject to such barbaric behaviour. 

I found the Chamonix side to be much more civilised and accomodating.

Courmayeur, the famous Mont Blanc ski resort is not just one of the best winter destinations in Italy for downhill skiers. The resort has something of beauty and surroundings for cross country skiers as well. going to Courmayeur was one of the greatest experiences of my life. i really enjoyed the skiing it was amazing. !!!!!!!  so glad i got the chance to go thanking my mum for playing for the trip !!!!!!!!!!

trip to Northern italy with grandaughters ages 10

My husband and I will be in Tuscany for 2 weeks with our extended family. Our children will go back to the USA leaving their daughters with us for another week of adventure. I would appreciate any input re. the funivia from Italy to Mont Blanc as well as places to stay that are comfortable and also have swimming pool - as although we will be north it still could be warm in mid July.
